On ISKCON campus children have been raped and there has been attempts of kidnapping. Motorbikes, etc., are a constant threat to the safety of children - outside as well as inside ISKCON campus.
Beware of dogs and impure food or drinks, especially for your children. Houses, stairs, etc., are not always built with the safety of children in mind.
~ please keep your children supervised at all time.
~ do not let children near dogs.
~ Indians love children, but do not let them touch your child. Their hands may not always be clean.
~ avoid allowing unknown persons photographing your child.
~ check carefully areas where children are playing. Look out for possible hazards or potentially dangerous factors, such as water, electricity, stairs without proper safety, traffic, unknown persons...?
